Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our mental health service in Norfolk. The successful candidate will work with adults aged 18 and above with learning disabilities, providing specialist treatment and care.

Salary:

£160,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role
  • Develop and implement risk assessments and management plans, ensuring clinical governance is embedded within the service.
  • Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' hearings, as well as attending relevant meetings.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours telephone on-call rota, ensuring patients receive timely support.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of adult psychiatry, mental health diagnosis, and the Mental Health Act, along with the Code of Practice and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. They must be an excellent communicator, able to assess and treat patients effectively, while maintaining clear and comprehensive medical records.
