Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Summary: Northampton Business Directory is seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team in delivering crucial civil engineering and highways projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer construction works in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Assist with the implementation of Principal Contractor duties under CDM regulations, overseeing the compliance of the Construction Phase Plan, including site inductions and rules.
  • Support the development and adherence to Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, and Point of Work Risk Assessments, conducting regular health and safety inspections and reporting accidents and near-misses.
  • Monitor site progress, report issues, and ensure compliance with the project programme, inspecting and ensuring work quality in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan, designs, and specifications.

Requirements:

  • SSSTS (CITB Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
  • 12D Lantra Traffic Management certification.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in managing civil engineering contractors and direct employees, with proficiency in MS Office and order management databases.
