In the role of Site Operations Supervisor, you will oversee project activities and manage a team that includes foremen, laborers, and direct workforce. You will also supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors throughout the project's duration.
Key Responsibilities
As a Site Operations Supervisor, your duties will include:
Under the direction of the Project Manager or Site Manager, ensuring the safe execution, delivery, and financial performance of assigned projects within the agreed budget and forecasts. Responsible for the operational and commercial success of projects, ensuring compliance with legal, client, and company standards, policies, and procedures. Participation in development programs, such as the Supervisor Development Programme (SDP). Implementation of systems and processes to fulfill project requirements, including Quality Plans, Completion Packs, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). Conducting weekly site inspections to assess adherence to Group Minimum Operational Standards and implementing action plans to address any findings promptly. Approval and execution of Project Quality Plans, Safety Plans, Work Package Plans, ITPs, and Tool Box Talks. Effective management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with all contractual and safety obligations.Ideal Candidate Profile
You should possess the following qualifications:
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction methodologies, including structures, highways, and earthworks. A valid SMSTS certification. Proven experience in subcontractor management. Health & Safety qualification. First Aid certification.Why Choose Balfour Beatty?
