About the Climate Change Mitigation Expert Position

ERM is seeking an experienced Climate Change Mitigation Expert to join our climate change consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting organisations in their journey towards achieving net-zero emissions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and implement climate change mitigation strategies for clients, including identifying areas for improvement and recommending cost-effective solutions.">
  • Analyse and report on greenhouse gas emissions, including scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.">
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored solutions to achieve them.">
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.">

Requirements:

">

A relevant technical degree or 5+ years' experience in environmental consulting / climate change / related industry position. Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge of GHG accounting and reporting principles, mechanisms, methodologies, and schemes.

Able to proactively identify and suggest suitable methodologies to address client problems, and articulate why they are the preferred method both internally and to clients.

">

Around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
