Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team as an Advanced Climate Control Engineer. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of sophisticated environmental testing equipment, including refrigeration, electrical, and humidity systems. You will work closely with clients across the UK, providing expert advice and guidance on equipment condition and recommending repairs or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and carry out repairs on refrigeration, electrical, and humidity systems.">
  3. Customer Support: Advise clients on equipment condition and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.">
  4. Installation Projects: Assist in project installations both in the UK and internationally as required.">
  5. Travel: Regular travel to customer locations across the UK.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Engineering Background: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.">
  • Electrical Installations: City & Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installations qualification.">
  • Commercial and Industrial Experience: Previous experience in a similar engineering role within environmental testing or similar industries.">
  • Electronic Controls: Familiarity with electronic controls and controllers (training provided).">
  • Refrigeration Circuits: Understanding of refrigeration circuits, including various refrigerants and cascade refrigeration.">
  • Pipework and Brazing: Experience with pipework, brazing, and silver soldering.">
