About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Climate and Planning Technical Lead. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our ambitious climate action goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on and develop projects and initiatives to support the delivery of net-zero development
  • Work closely with national and local government authorities, key stakeholders, and partner organisations to deliver the council's climate objectives through planning
  • Develop and implement innovative climate change policy and work closely with district planning authorities and developers to secure exemplar net-zero developments
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with proven experience in climate action and planning within a local government setting. You will have strong project management skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership working abilities, and a forward-thinking mindset.
