Learning Support Worker with ASD Expertise

Axcis Education Recruitment seeks an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Special Needs School in Wednesbury, West Midlands.
The school caters for pupils with Autism/ASD and features state-of-the-art facilities, including a sensory room, integration room, and dedicated Music and Food Technology rooms.
About the Job- You will work with a small group of pupils, ranging from Reception to Year 6, with severe ASD, requiring essential experience with ASD.
- Your daily duties will include supporting and engaging pupils in learning, working alongside class teachers to ensure the best outcomes, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour is required.
- A DBS on the Update Service or ability to pay £56 is necessary.
- PAYE salary: £83 (dependent on experience).
- Contract type: Temporary, with potential to go permanent.
- Work pattern: Monday – Friday, 08:30-15:15.
