We provide vulnerable young people with accommodation, housing support, and educational achievements, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver a responsive, customized, and quality service to young people in individual flats or shared houses, adhering to person-centered risk assessments and support plans.
  • Document and report changes in behavior, support needs, and ensure a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for the young person.
  • Maintain positive relationships with young people, staff, and professionals, communicating effectively and actively seeking ways to improve the young people's experience.
  • Ensure continuous support is provided to young people at the standards of day staff, focusing on the safety of vulnerable individuals.
  • Liaise with external agencies, such as the police, Emergency Duty Team, and support young people who need to attend the hospital or police station.

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting vulnerable young people.
  • Flexibility in availability, including weekend work, and a valid driving license with access to a vehicle.
  • Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma, Children and Young People's Workforce, or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to study toward this.
  • Excellent computer skills and a strong sense of personal accountability.
