About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Support Specialist to join our team at Brook Street. The successful candidate will provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for young children in need of residential care.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with families and external professionals to guide young people towards their placement goals. You will also record and monitor progress, supporting young people with practical life skills, such as cooking and cleaning. Additionally, you will encourage positive behaviors and maintain a safe environment, providing transportation for appointments when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

What We Offer

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £11.50-£13 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, including 24-hour shifts, weekends, and bank holidays. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment that values compassion and growth.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as resilience and flexibility. A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this qualification is essential. Prior experience working with vulnerable children or young people is also required. As this position involves working shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, you must be willing to adapt your schedule accordingly. A valid driving license and business insurance on your vehicle are also necessary.
