Clinical Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Nurse to fill a Functional Assessor role, offering 9 to 5 hours and true hybrid working. This opportunity allows you to utilize your medical skills while maintaining a better work-life balance.
About the RoleAs a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate individuals and how their disabilities or conditions impact their work life. You will draw upon your clinical expertise to conduct physical examinations, listen carefully to each person's medical history, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) regarding eligibility for benefits.
You will interact with people both face-to-face and via telephone/video. Your sensitive and compassionate approach, combined with the ability to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards, is essential for this role.
Please note that part-time candidates must commit to working at least three days per week.
Your Qualifications and Skills- NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
- Experience working with adults in various clinical situations, including Surgical, Medical, A & E, Community, and Practice Nursing.
- NMC registration with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
- Strong IT skills and experience using a range of software.
- Self-awareness and a commitment to professional development.
- Motivation to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.
- A competitive salary: £37,500 - £43,000 + £2,000 after one year, plus ongoing bonus of up to 10% once approved and eligible.
