About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team at NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB). As a key member of our Digital Transformation function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy and implementing digital solutions to support our ambitious plans for sharing digital records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical solutions to meet the needs of our population, delivered in local neighbourhoods.
  • Develop and maintain technical requirements specifications and map out provider technical implementation and clinical application support requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on systems technical architecture, defining technical options and approaches for a digital care plan solution.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of technical specialist areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
  • Strong integration knowledge and experience, including HL7v2, batch files uploads, and on-demand API (IHE profiles, FHIR).
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle Cerner HIE or equivalent information sharing software.
  • Digital transformation knowledge and experience in an NHS and/or social care context.
