About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team at NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB). As a key member of our Digital Transformation function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our ambitious plans for sharing digital records across Hertfordshire and West Essex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and scope technical solutions for our digital care plan initiative, with a focus on frailty and end-of-life care.
  • Develop functional requirements specifications and map out technical implementation and clinical application support requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on systems technical architecture, defining technical options and approaches for our digital care plan solution.
  • Collaborate with our partners to ensure seamless integration and implementation of our digital care plan solution.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of technical specialist areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
  • Strong integration knowledge and experience, including HL7v2, batch files uploads, and on-demand API (IHE profiles, FHIR).
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle Cerner HIE or equivalent information sharing software.
  • Digital transformation knowledge and experience in an NHS and/or social care context.
  • Experience of leading, managing, developing, influencing, and inspiring staff.
