Transport Assistant in Mental Health Services

As a Transport Assistant in Mental Health Services, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and respectfully to various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:- Transport patients to various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
- Provide exceptional care and support to patients during transportation, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and transport details.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transport services.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with at least 12 months' driving experience.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (within the last 3 years preferred).
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience.
**Salary and Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £12.14 per hour, paid for day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Bonus pay for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and bed watch activities supporting ward staff (£20 extra per hour).
