As a Transport Assistant in Mental Health Services, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and respectfully to various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
  • Provide exceptional care and support to patients during transportation, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and transport details.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transport services.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with at least 12 months' driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (within the last 3 years preferred).
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience.

**Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £12.14 per hour, paid for day, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Bonus pay for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and bed watch activities supporting ward staff (£20 extra per hour).
