Secure Care UK is looking for skilled professionals to take up the position of Healthcare Assistants - Patient Transfers. As a key member of our team, you will contribute significantly to delivering high-quality patient transport services.
About the Role:- This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives by working in the mental health sector.
- You will be responsible for transporting patients to various settings, providing exceptional care and ensuring their safety throughout the journey.
- Our team works closely with NHS trusts and private settings to deliver high-quality patient transport services.
The ideal candidate should have a valid Full UK Manual Driving License with at least 12 months' driving experience and an Enhanced DBS certificate (within the last 3 years preferred). Strong communication and IT skills are required.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum (£12.16 per hour), paid for day, night, and weekend shifts. Bonus pay is available for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and bed watch activities supporting ward staff (£20 extra per hour).
Key Responsibilities:- Transport patients safely and respectfully to various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
- Provide exceptional care and support to patients during transportation, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and transport details.
- Work effectively as part of a close-knit team to ensure seamless patient transport services.
