About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate NHS Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing essential medical advice.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. You will also have the ability to use NHS Pathways Software to assess patients' conditions and direct them to the appropriate healthcare professional or service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential medical advice to patients, using your advanced listening and probing skills to ensure clear guidance.
  • Assess patients' conditions and direct them to the appropriate healthcare professional or service using NHS Pathways Software.
  • Work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Possesses excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Has the right to work in the UK and can commit to 6 weeks of full-time training.
  • Lives within a 60-minute commute of our location.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including free training and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
