Lead a New Residential Children's Home to Success

Join Leaders in Care as a dynamic Residential Children's Home - Registered Manager and take on the exciting challenge of setting up a new provision in Crewe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of a children's home from the ground up, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young people to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the registration process with Ofsted and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational policies
  • Recruit, induct, and develop a staff team, providing professional supervision and training
  • Lead and manage care and placement planning, maintaining professional relationships with multi-agency partnerships
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management, facilitating Ofsted inspections and regulatory reports
What We Offer:
  • Annual salary of £50,000 - £55,000
  • 40-hour work week with flexibility and on-call support as needed

Requirements:
  • QCF Level 3/4 in Children and Young People (CYP) and a minimum of one year of managerial experience within a children's residential service
  • Comprehensive knowledge of attachment theory and quality standards, with experience with Ofsted inspections
  • A full UK driving licence and a willingness to undertake QCF Level 5 in leadership and management
