Job Title: Residential Children's Home Manager
Job Summary:
Leaders in Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Children's Home Manager to lead the setup of a new provision in a residential children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the registration process with Ofsted and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational policies.
- Recruit, induct, and develop a staff team to provide high-quality care and support.
- Lead and manage care and placement planning, ensuring the best interests of children and young people are always prioritised.
- Maintain professional relationships with multi-agency partnerships and oversee budgeting and financial management.
- Provide professional supervision and training for staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
- Facilitate Ofsted inspections and regulatory reports, ensuring our provision meets the highest standards.
Requirements:
- QCF Level 3/4 in Children and Young People (CYP) or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of one year of managerial experience within a children's residential service.
- Comprehensive knowledge of attachment theory and quality standards.
- Experience with Ofsted inspections and a full UK driving licence.
- Level 5 or a willingness to undertake QCF Level 5 in leadership and management.
