Urology Nurse Specialist

The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a registered nurse to join its urology investigation unit at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team, providing high-quality patient care to urology consultant and nurse-led clinics, procedures such as cystoscopy, biopsies, urodynamics, and lithotripsy, as well as intravesical treatments.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for being organised, flexible, with good communication skills, and able to work as part of a team. Previous urology experience would be an advantage but not essential.
You will be supported by the unit manager to develop your skills and reach your full potential.

Detailed Job Description and Main ResponsibilitiesOnce your pre-employment checks have been completed, you will be contacted by Recruitment to arrange your start date, which will be in line with one of our Corporate Inductions.
Following your Corporate Induction, you will be expected to attend the Trust's 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs, and Paramedics.

Essential criteria include insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the NHS, demonstrates a commitment to professional development.
Desirable criteria include previous urological experience, understanding of audit and benchmarking processes, and understanding of both 18 week Elective pathway and Cancer pathway.
