Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Staff Nurse in our Gynaecology Department, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients with a range of gynaecological conditions.

Main Duties

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for participating in the delivery of care to patients undergoing hysteroscopy, gynaecological outpatients, rapid access, colposcopy, and urogynaecology clinics. You will work closely with the Band 6 and 7 team to ensure efficient and effective communication, and contribute to the professional development of junior staff within the department.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration. Adult Branch
  • Recognised Mentorship Course or willingness to undertake
  • Specialist course relevant to area
  • Experience as a qualified nurse
  • Possess a high standard of communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be able to effectively co-ordinate workload and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • To show enthusiasm to develop new innovations and skills to enhance practice
