About This Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Unit Nurse Manager at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the delivery of care that meets the unique needs of our residents.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of nursing services to ensure high-quality care for our residents.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans that make a real difference to their day-to-day lives.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent clinical skills, compassion, and initiative in all aspects of your work.
  • Build strong relationships with local regulators and social services to drive continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
  • Mentor and support staff to achieve their full potential and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN).
  • Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience as a clinical mentor and supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
  • Dedication, ambition, and resilience, with a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
