We're seeking an experienced Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health) to join our team at one of our care homes. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation and delivering exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role
As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health), you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing and mental health care to our residents. This includes assessing their needs, implementing care plans, and working closely with your team to deliver exceptional care outcomes. You'll also be responsible for planning rotas, recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, as well as building strong relationships with local regulators and social services.
Your Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration. Experience in providing care for older people and those with dementia is essential, along with a successful track record of developing care plans and conducting detailed risk assessments. We're looking for someone with up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. As a natural leader, you'll have acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
