About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (Child) with active RSCN registration to work in our dynamic paediatric emergency department. You will be part of a growing team providing effective healthcare in north Cumbria and will have the chance to contribute to practice development and adhere to local policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care without supervision.
  • Contribute to nursing practice development within the department and ward area.
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with local policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse child with active NMC registration or working towards.
  • PILS/ILS.
  • TNCC or equivalent.
  • EPALS/APLS.
  • ALS.
  • NILS.
  • Student nurse or general nursing within the NHS or equivalent.
  • Emergency Care Paediatric Nursing.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £34,000 - £44,000 per annum, depending on experience. Fully funded training is available.
