Nursing Care Leader for Elderly Care Home

A dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse is sought to join our team at Riverwell Beck care home in Carlisle, providing exceptional nursing care to our residents. This is a permanent position offering excellent career progression opportunities within a supportive and friendly environment.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to lead by example, promoting a culture of personalised care that always puts our residents first. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and support is given to our residents, leading by example and motivating your team to achieve excellence. You will provide nursing care and interventions where needed, report directly to the Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead, and contribute to the smooth running of the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the care team to ensure exceptional resident care.
- Promote a culture of person-centred care that prioritises resident needs.
- Provide expert nursing care and interventions as required.
- Lead by example, motivating and supporting your team to achieve excellence.
- Report directly to the Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead, keeping them informed of important matters.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified nurse (RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN), have significant experience working in a care home or similar environment, and possess excellent leadership skills. You should be a natural leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others and has a genuine passion for elderly care. Additionally, you will require a good standard of English and numeracy skills, and be able to commit to further training relevant to the role if necessary.
