About the Role

We Are With You is seeking a highly skilled Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our team in providing high-quality recovery care to individuals with complex needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist psychological assessments and treatments to clients with co-existing substance use and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address the psychological needs of clients
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients with complex needs
  • Supervise and support the practice of psychology staff, including practitioner and assistant psychologists
  • Contribute to the development of our services and ensure that they are aligned with best practice and evidence-based interventions

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, or equivalent
  • Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and evidence of continuing professional development
  • Demonstrable experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with a range of psychological needs
  • Advanced training in an evidence-based psychological therapy for substance misuse
