About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at With You. As a key member of our substance misuse service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with complex needs.

As a Lead Practitioner Psychologist, you will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience working with individuals with substance use issues. You will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals, and providing supervision and support to junior staff members.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage your time well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff members
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to substance misuse services

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use issues
  • Strong background in clinical psychology and experience working in a substance misuse service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time well
