Job Summary

METRO Charity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Integrated Sexual Health Service (ISHS) in Hertfordshire. As the Manager of this service, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a dynamic sexual health education and prevention program, working closely with colleagues from the NHS, pharmacies, and community stakeholders to ensure better sexual health outcomes for the local population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of five staff to deliver a comprehensive sexual health service, including condom distribution, National Chlamydia Screening program, sexual health promotion, and training and education for schools and colleges.
  • Collaborate with the METRO training and communications team to ensure the delivery of METRO's services across a wide range of targeted audiences.
  • Work with the METRO management team to integrate METRO services in Hertfordshire within our wider offer, and support staff to feel part of the wider METRO team.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Head of domain and other managers to ensure alignment and coordination across the Sexual and Reproductive Health domain.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in leading a team and managing complex programs.
  • Strong knowledge of sexual health services and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
