Job Summary

METRO Charity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Integrated Sexual Health Service (ISHS) in Hertfordshire. As the Manager of this service, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a dynamic sexual health education and prevention program, working closely with colleagues from the NHS, pharmacies, and community stakeholders to ensure better sexual health outcomes for the local population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of five staff to deliver a comprehensive sexual health service, including condom distribution, National Chlamydia Screening program, sexual health promotion, and training and education for schools and colleges.
  • Collaborate with the METRO training and communications team to ensure the delivery of METRO's services across a wide range of targeted audiences.
  • Work with the METRO management team to support the delivery of services across the Sexual and Reproductive Health domain.
  • Ensure that METRO services in Hertfordshire are integrated within our wider offer and support staff to feel part of the wider METRO team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading a team and managing a sexual health service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve sexual health outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the NHS and community health services, including the National Chlamydia Screening program.
