About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Educational Psychologist to join our team at Essex County Council.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality interventions to support the well-being and development of children and young people in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering targeted interventions to meet the needs of individual children and young people.
  • Collaborating with schools and settings to develop inclusive and evidence-based strategies for promoting social justice and building strong relationships with communities.
  • Providing high-quality consultancy and advisory services to ensure the effective application of psychological principles in educational settings.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctorate or Masters degree in Professional Educational Psychology.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist or eligibility for registration.
  • Experience of working with children and young people in educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
