We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Clinical Psychology Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality mental health services to older adults in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions within a mental health environment.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary services in mental health to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide clinical supervision to other psychological therapists and contribute to the development of psychologically informed care and care planning.
- Support the delivery of service development projects, including pathways for psychological therapies and workforce development.
- Doctorate in Clinical / Counselling Psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council or BABCP / BACP accredited CBT / therapist with additional training in for example EMDR / DBT.
- Experience of delivering psychological therapy in a group format and providing clinical supervision to other qualified mental health staff.
- Knowledge of professional issues in psychology and psychological therapies, as well as contemporary legislation relevant to the delivery of mental health and psychological services.
