Maintenance Engineer

A leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on complex machinery, as well as assisting in the installation of new equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and develop capital project programs.
- Work with the Engineering Manager to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Update and maintain internal databases to record fault issues and reordering of parts.
Requirements:
- Electrical biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical regulations.
- Ability to read drawings and manuals to aid repair and service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a complex manufacturing environment, with some exposure to CNC machinery an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
