Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading global manufacturing business in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment onsite, ensuring the smooth running of machinery and supporting continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:- React to machine breakdowns onsite and conduct preventative maintenance tasks during scheduled/planned downtime.
- Maintain plant equipment to ensure machine efficiency and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Assist with the installation of new plant equipment and machinery and liaise with contractors and suppliers on breakdowns and repairs.
- Work with internal departments on engineering projects and support continuous improvement activities.
- Experience within a Multiskilled Maintenance role and Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 17th Edition qualification or above and experience with repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings and have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or similar role and is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join a dynamic team.
