Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Probe UK. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy engineering production site in Bilston, near Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical faults on manufacturing machinery.
  • Implement improvements to production processes and equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and address maintenance-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Siemens S7 systems and heavy engineering principles.
Requirements:
  • Recognized engineering qualifications and experience in heavy engineering maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a continental shift pattern, including weekends.
