Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Engineer to work as part of our engineering teams to reduce production downtime and improve processes. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining outputs to plan, responding to breakdowns, identifying and ordering spares, and communicating with production and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain outputs (H&S, Quality, and Performance) to plan.
  • Respond to breakdowns as identified by Engineering or Production Operatives.
  • Identify and order spares to facilitate plant efficiency.
  • Communicate with Production and Engineers via logbooks and other methods.
  • Observe all safety procedures and follow good engineering practices.
  • Take ownership of engineering tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Qualified in an Electromechanical engineering discipline is desired, but not essential.
  • A Maintenance engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or have over five years' experience in industry.
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident in making decisions.
  • Able to demonstrate bench fitting skills and ideally machining and/or welding.
  • Comfortable with working on electrical circuits and PLC controlled processes.
  • Experienced within the manufacturing industry or ideally food and beverage production industry.
