Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant, including the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including daily checks and planned maintenance, to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Identify and report any equipment or machinery faults, and implement repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, C&G, Time Served).
  • Experience of FMCG operations and maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills, including electrical and mechanical fault finding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
