Job Description: Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work with patients aged over 65 years who may be experiencing functional mental health illnesses or dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and identifying the occupational needs of patients
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma/BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • State registered with Health Professionals Council
  • Post Graduate training relevant to mental health work in appropriate speciality
