Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team.

The successful candidate will provide specialist occupational therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs, prioritizing planning and delivering interventions to improve occupational functioning and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve efficient team functioning and patient outcomes.
  • Prioritize planning and delivering interventions to improve occupational functioning and overall well-being.
Person SpecificationEducation/Qualifications
  • Diploma/BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • State registered with Health Professionals Council.
  • Post Graduate training relevant to mental health work in an appropriate speciality
  • Documented evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
Experience
  • Several years post registration experience, with a few years in a mental health setting (with experience in a relevant specialist area)
  • Familiarity with audit processes
  • Use of evidence-based practice
Salary:

£43,041 - £56,239 per annum depending on experience.
