Education Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Education Support Specialist at Suffolk One Sixth Form College. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality academic and pastoral support to students with complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Working closely with teachers and Family Support Workers, you will develop and deliver pastoral interventions to support students' SEMH needs, working one-on-one or in small groups. You will also use Trauma-Informed Schools (TIS) strategies to support students across the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver pastoral interventions to support students' SEMH needs.
- Use TIS strategies to support students across the school environment.
- Assess and report on students' progress and achievements.
- Collaborate with teachers and Family Support Workers to build strong home-school partnerships.
Salary: £25,119 - £27,334 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
