About the Company
">Rota Support Ltd is a specialist provider of permanent and temporary care, nursing and support staff to the private healthcare sector.We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Lowestoft. The role involves working at different homes covering gaps in our clients' rotas due to annual leave, maternity leave, sickness and vacancies. These shifts may arise at short notice or be booked weeks in advance depending on the clients' needs.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 months experience in a care home previously and a good understanding of spoken and written English. They should be compassionate, patient and enjoy helping others. The role requires assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding and using the toilet, utilising equipment to move patients when necessary and taking their vital signs including blood pressure and temperature. The ideal candidate will also be able to talk to patients and reassure them, assist nurses and other staff when needed and help tidy the patient's home or room.
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and providing evidence of right to work in the UK.
About the Role- Flexible shifts available, accumulating into either full-time hours or part-time hours
- 0-hours contract with opportunities for ad-hoc and regular shifts
Estimated salary: £9.50 - £10.80 per hour (dependent on location and experience). This role provides an opportunity for individuals who value flexibility and autonomy in their work.
