**Salary Range:** £87 - £108 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Primary Education Support Specialist to join our team at GSL Education in Newcastle. As a Primary Education Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting young children with their education.
About the Role:
As a Primary Education Support Specialist, you will collaborate with teachers to create tailored learning plans that address the specific needs of each child. You will teach a range of subjects to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and offer individual and small group interventions to help children improve their knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans for children.
- Teach a variety of subjects to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Provide individual and small group support to children to help them improve their knowledge and skills.
- Maintain detailed records of children's progress and provide regular updates to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children in their educational journey.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education are desirable.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
