About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Executive to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. As a key member of our fundraising department, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission to provide exceptional care and support to adults with neurological disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community fundraising strategy to engage with local communities and raise vital funds for our charity.
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to support fundraising events and activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community groups, and individuals to secure sponsorship and donations.
  • Plan and deliver a range of fundraising events, including sporting and challenge events, to meet our annual fundraising targets.
  • Provide excellent supporter care and stewardship to our donors and volunteers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Work closely with our communications team to develop marketing and digital plans to promote our fundraising activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our community fundraising strategy, making recommendations for improvement.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in community fundraising, with a track record of success in meeting fundraising targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence in writing marketing and promotional copy, with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Computer literate, with experience of using Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings, as required.
