**About the role**
The position of Logistics Coordinator is responsible for handling logistics activities, operations and administrative tasks and reports into the Operations Coordinator. The role specifically focuses on delivering an exceptional patient centred service. You will work both independently and within a team, to diligently plan, organise and carry out logistics activities that will assist the company to meet targets, improve the flow of inbound and outbound operations.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Coordinate & expedite requests, time-specific pickups and deliveries and other special requests.
- Keep customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date, method, and current status.
- Undertake basic data collection, analysis and distribution activities.
- To provide a general enquiry and information service to all patients, public and other clinical colleagues.
- Maintain the quality processes and procedures across the logistics department ensuring that CQC guidelines are being met.
- Communicate with other departments and Manager to resolve and patient issues when required.
