Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering our ambitious plans for new homes. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a professional with experience in the development space, looking to transition from project management to business development.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities, building key relationships with developers, land owners, local authorities, and other agencies. They will lead on complex contract negotiations, secure funding, and finalise budget and cash flows. In addition, they will oversee the effective and timely handover of projects to our Development Construction Team, ensuring all relevant audit requirements for the pre-construction phase are completed.
This role requires a dynamic, resourceful, and highly commercial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a Housing or Construction degree, or equivalent experience working in a related field. They will also have experience in managing and leading complex development projects, with a proven ability to work towards ambitious targets and new challenges.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
