Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Support Teacher Role candidate to join our dynamic SEN team at a high-performing High School in Cheadle Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with varying learning needs.
About the Position
This 31-hour per week Term Time Only role involves working with experienced teachers to enhance student progress and promote their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. You will provide one-to-one or small group support to identified students within the classroom environment.
Requirements
- Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in supporting young people who are vulnerable and/or have special educational needs.
- Previous experience in a school setting would be an advantage.
Package and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
