Warehouse Operative CRU

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their CRU Returns department.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment and be able to operate within a fast-paced team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving deliveries, picking and packing customer orders, and loading trailers with customer goods.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-operating fully with the site's safety requirements.
- Receiving deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse, checking quantities, recording receipt, and passing on paperwork.
- Picking and packing customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
- Loading trailers with customer goods in a timely manner.
- Putting away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
- Manual handling of products.
- Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
- Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
- Stock integrity and quality checks.
- Keeping warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear, and litter removal.
The successful candidate will also have:
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- A professional manner.
- Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility.
- MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable.
