Warehouse Operative

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our CRU Returns team in Newbridge. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of customer stock.
Key Responsibilities:- Cooperate fully with the site's safety requirements.
- Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse, checking quantities and recording receipt.
- Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
- Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner.
- Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
- Manual handling of products.
- Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
- Housekeeping, including physical completion and hygiene checks.
- Stock integrity and quality checks.
- Keep the warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear, and litter removal.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- A professional manner.
- Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility.
- MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable.
