Warehouse Operative - CRU Returns

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our CRU Returns team in Newbridge. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process customer stock deliveries, checking quantities and recording receipt.
  • Pick and pack customer orders efficiently, meeting turn-round targets and dispatching orders with accurate paperwork.
  • Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking system, ensuring stock integrity and quality.
  • Perform manual handling of products, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Sign off on tasks completed, ensuring accountability and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to housekeeping and hygiene checks, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in stock integrity and quality checks, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A professional manner and attitude.
  • Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • MHE – Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses are desirable.
