Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive business growth and profitability. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasting sales, and optimizing costs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze trends, and introduce innovative technologies to maximize value. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and forecasting: Estimate annual sales and costs for account directors and clients, reforecast part-way through the fiscal year, and monitor accuracy.
  • Cost management: Oversee all inward and outward costs from suppliers, intercompany activity, expenses, travel, and entertaining vs budget.
  • Invoicing and cash flow: Manage invoicing, shipping to bill, pre- and part-invoicing big jobs in stages, and keep cash flowing by spotting any potential issues.
  • Funding and capital expenditure: Liaise with key stakeholders on salaries, purchase ledger, credit checks, new supplier setup, services agreements, confidentiality agreements, terms of payment, and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
