Consultant Obstetrician with Special Interest in Fetal Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Obstetrician to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Fetal Medicine and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our obstetric services.
Key Responsibilities- Providing general obstetric care and managing labour ward activities in collaboration with midwifery leaders and related clinical governance issues.
- Participating in the on-call rota covering obstetrics and being routinely expected to be resident on site until further notice.
- Contributing to the development of our obstetric services and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- CCST/CCT (or equivalent) or entry on the Specialist Register of the GMC for Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Demonstrable skills in department management and leadership.
- ATSM or Equivalent in Fetal Medicine and ATSM in Obstetrics and Labour Ward Management.
- Wide experience in Obstetrics and a strong understanding of clinical governance and its application to Obstetrics.
