Key Responsibilities- Clinical Oversight: Maintain comprehensive clinical and administrative oversight of the department's operations.
- Standards Development: Establish and implement standards, procedures, and robust systems to enhance patient care from entry to discharge.
- Supervision: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff, facilitating one-on-one learning opportunities through formal and informal rounds.
- Educational Contributions: Actively engage in educational initiatives for junior medical staff, including formal teaching sessions and relevant clinical audits.
- Training: Deliver training to staff across various medical disciplines, nursing, and support personnel as necessary.
- Professional Development: Maintain an updated job plan and personal development plan, participating in the relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme.
