About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Obstetrician to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Fetal Medicine and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our obstetric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with obstetric and gynecological conditions, with a focus on Fetal Medicine
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and workshops for healthcare professionals
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • CCST/CCT (or equivalent) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Demonstrable skills in department management and leadership
  • ATSM or Equivalent in Fetal Medicine
  • ATSM in Obstetrics and Labour Ward Management
  • Wide experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
